It was a dark and stormy night and the social media platform formerly known as Twitter was unsurprisingly toxic, however this particular night traditionally nontoxic communities were acting rather aggressive and it seemed this "illness" had started infected even the more established communities. "When will it end?!" Bidlo said to his wife (who traiditionally does not care for the web3 lifestyles). "I must do something, I want to do something, but I am just a mediocre artist with a very small following, what could I possibly do to change this? The bear is devouring everything including the happiness and joy of those who are traditionally unaffected by such things! What can I do?!" Thats when I thought to myself, a familiar thought I had before, to make a token. "Blast!" I thought aloud! "I dont have any money to fund such a project! How could I create a token without any funding...unless...the token doesnt need liquidity. Yes a token without liquidity, its like a free NFT except even better because I can always add to it later!" Just like that the thought of $LOVE had been born "A token with no proper use, no need to worry of rugpull with no liquidity!! Now to think of a token name". I sat down and started at Thirdweb's website for a few minutes, trying to force the few braincells fireing that evening to rub together. "Superdogeflockishib? No thats dumb. Baby Superdogeflockishib? That is better but it doesnt really spread the LOVE that I wanted to" And that is when it dawned on me. The two braincells had finally made contact with one another and a thought was forceably squeezed together. "OF COURSE!" I yelled "ILL CALL IT LOVE!" It was at this point my wife had told me to stop yelling, but at that moment, my wife knew I had just created something beautiful. She smiled and said "I love it". I quickly filled in the textboxes on Thirdwebs token creator and decided a supply with a ton of 69's would be extra nice. I looked to $CHILL with supply ideas as at this time I was speaking regularly with and helping in any way I could with CHILLPILL. Next, I needed art. I rushed to my tablet thinking "I need some art to go with this token". My instincts told me to look at the fan art I had done recently for $ONFT and thus the ghost idea came to me. After giving my lusty ghost a more loving makeover the art was ready to be used as a token logo. The time was finally upon me to make my dreams a reality. With a click of the mouse, and a tiny bit of gas, $LOVE was born. I quickly made my way onto what was once Twitter and posted a very simple message:
I thought "nobody is gonna want this...ok maybe a few of my Fantom friends, but everyone else is just gonna scroll right past" I was very wrong! Thanks to that simple post we have created an amazing community and continue to grow daily with more and more connections. No utility has turned into NFT and $LOVE giveaways for $LOVE holders and even regular art auctions to bring new artists into the space. I do not know how far we will go or how high we will fly, but I can promise you one thing, there will be nothing but $LOVE the entire time!
